THE MISSION:
OffCampus Production Services provides cost effective tools and services vital to successful film-making for Students of the Visual Arts as well as practical advice and affordable access to professional grade vendors.

PRODUCTION SERVICES

1. PRE PRODUCTION CONSULTATION: Workflow errors commonly happen in pre-production and go unnoticed until problems arise further into the project. The earlier these errors are found, the less expensive it is to fix them; as a project gets further into the editing process, the cost of correcting pre production and production errors increases significantly. OffCampus will review your budget and workflow plans and make suggestions to help you avoid costly errors and advise on how to implement actions to avoid foreseeable problems.

2. FILMSTOCK (short ends and recans): OffCampus offers a full line of motion picture stock. All film stock is fully snip tested for freshness and guaranteed.  We have a large network of partners who offer film services, and we can help a production to stay within their budget without giving up the quality of shooting on film. NOTHING beats the quality of film.

3. FILM PROCESSING: OffCampus Production Services uses our strategic alliance with Fotokem for the processing of 35MM and 16MM camera negative both color and black and white. Print dailies are also available upon request. Fotokem’s state of the art facilities and rigid quality controls ensure the utmost care for your project.

4. DIGITIZING:  OffCampus can assist you with digitizing services if your school does not have the required equipment.  We offer a wide variety of decks - from DVCAM to HDCAM SR. We can digitize either uncompressed or any other codec you need.

5. HD TELECINE:   We offer HD Telecine from Spirit with DaVinci 2k color correction.  We can usually book your session within 24 hours.  Our strategic partner Rushes offers the following services: Transfer 16MM & 35MM, 8 perf VistaVision, 4 Perf, 3 Perf, 2 Perf to Data, High Def 4:4:4 or 4:2:2, NTSC or PAL, Standard Def or Hard Drive. We also offer services for RED, Phantom, 5D, 7D, GH1, Quicktime to Data, HD, SD, Hard Drive.  Decks included are HDCAM SR, HDCAM, D5, DIGITAL BETACAM, DVCAM and Tape to Tape.
